Friday evening, May 12:
6:30-8:30 pm. Come and Go Meet and Greet and Wingspan Games at Bartlesville Hilton Garden Inn (205 SW Frank Phillips Blvd, Bartlesville).
Saturday, May 13:
6:45 am. Meet at Hilton Garden Inn for Pathfinder Field Trip Departure -OR- Plan to meet group at Pathfinder at 7 am. CLICK HERE FOR MAP LINK.
7:00 am. Field trip to Pathfinder along the Caney River (trip leaders: Jimmy Woodard, Dan Reinking and Mark Peterson).
7:30 to 10:00 am. Demonstration of mist netting and banding birds at Pathfinder (leader Joe Gryzbowski), come and go event. **If you plan on attending the Sutton Center, DO NOT handle any birds**.
Sutton Center Activities: Masked Bobwhite Breeding Program Visits (two times to choose from, each limited to 30 participants). **Anyone who handles birds during the bird banding program is not permitted to participate in the Masked Bobwhite visit due to risk of Avian Influenza, no exceptions**. 10:00 am Sutton Center Children's activities: learning about birds, seeing birds at close range, and learning to use binoculars are among the available activities.
Lunch is on your own.
1:00-2:15 pm or 2:15-3:30 pm. Story telling and origami activities for ages 4 through adulthood. At Bartlesville Public Library (600 S Johnstone Ave, Bartlesville), limit 20 participants. Activities lead by Mae Dean Erb, Cherokee citizen.
3:30-5:00 pm. Oklahoma Ornithological Society Board Meeting (Bartlesville Public Library, all welcome)
6:00-8:00 pm. Dinner and Stories from nationally recognized Cherokee citizen Robert Lewis at Crossing 2nd (215 E 2nd, Bartlesville). All activities are free except the dinner event on Saturday evening. Meal Cost: $25 for individuals, $40 for families (cost includes meal on Saturday Evening). Click below to register:
