Afternoon Activities: OOS Business Meeting (OKC Zoo Education Center) Oral and Poster presentations Dinner and Keynote Speaker Dr. Eli Bridge - Oklahoma University (OKC Zoo Education Center).
Dinner will be buffet-style and catered by the OKC Zoo, including chicken, pork, and vegetarian ziti options.
Keynote: "Flying by night: Advances in tracking nocturnal migrants"
Dr. Eli Bridge is an Associate Professor in the Oklahoma Biological Survey at the University of Oklahoma. He designs and employs a variety of tracking technologies to monitor animal populations and to investigate animal behaviors ranging from migration to cognition. From the skies to on-the-ground behavior. He often engages in the development of new methods and technologies to do so.
